The rooms are very spacious, I booked a double deluxe, with walk in shower. Lots of space to hang things, cupboards to place your clothes, lots of power points and charging jacks. Extra cupboards to store other items and lots of mirrors. We unexpectedly and at very short notice (that morning) had to extend our stay and was able to rebook this very promptly and in the same room. We had a one day break in our stay (because it was extended) and we were able to leave the vast amount of our luggage with them whilst we were away for the day and night, and returned to the same room the next night. Very helpful and very accommodating staff. We did have a slight issue with one of our meals one night. Basically I had ordered fish with gnocchi and edame beans. When the dish arrived it just had the beans, no gnocchi. It would have been quite difficult to eat that amount of beans without a slightly upset stomach, so I raised it with the serving lady. At my suggestion, she took my plate away and came back literally 2 minutes later with just the fish and a serving of slim chips (which were delicious - we were addicted to them by the end of our stay !) My husband had waited for me and we were able to eat our meal together. Shortly after a more senior member of staff came to our table to apologise and took the dish off our bill and offered us a free dessert each. We were very grateful. This is the service we experienced throughout our stay (we were there a total of 9 days ). The staff are excellent, from the lady bringing and clearing plates from the table to the deputy manager, they can all promptly act if there is any problem or need rather than passing it down line to management. Very friendly and approachable. On our second trip back, the chap on reception volunteered and actually took our very heavy luggage back to our room, as my husband has trouble with his knees. They also provided a daily supply of small bottles of mineral water each, which was very much appreciated.

Food was cocked very good. However, ingredients quality could be a bit better. Second evening we had dinner in the restaurant. Friendly stall and very good service. Food was prepared great (we had steaks) but quality if the meat itself could be better (it doesn’t look to be fresh meat… there was smell of a fridge). Breakfasts was satisfying both mornings. In overall, great staff and customer service. Very good kitchen staff as the food was cocked fantastic.

The gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool are clean and well looked after, and the staff are great. The buffet breakfast is as you'd expect, hot and lots 😀, and sets you up for the day, and is served till 9.30am. The evening meal has a good menu, the bacon cheese burger's were particularly popular. The rooms were clean and very quiet, so all in a great place to stay.

N.B. Beware if your GPS wants to lead you to Oxford Belfy via "Sandy Lane" - this is v.v.v narrow lane with tall hedgerows and few passing places

The Spa, Sauna, Gym and Pool were great Breakfast was very good Conference facilities and lunch was very good Overall a wonderful experience and we all voted to meet there as a regular venue
